WHSCAB
WHSCAB (WISHcab) is the original clubhouse for the VDC and we are pleased that completion of renovations to the building has allowed us to move back from our temporary digs at the SOM next door which, while beautifully appointed, was not large enough to hold all of the eager VDC members who attend our way cool meetings each month.
WHSCAB is located at 1440 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta, 30322, across the street from Egleston Children's Hospital. Clifton is the main thoroughfare through the Emory campus. The closest free parking is in the deck behind the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). You get there from Clifton Rd. by turning downhill at the light at Houston Mill Rd. and then left at your first chance onto Rollins Way. Use the first (staff) parking entrance, the gate arm goes up after 4:30pm.
From there walk towards the overhead pedestrian bridge that links the two RSPH buildings then turn right onto a sidewalk that runs in front of the Rollins Research Building. Follow that sidewalk past Rollins, down a flight of stairs, and across a pedestrian bridge spanning the CSX rail road tracks. Once you decant from the pedestrian bridge WHSCAB is the cement building immediately on your Left. Climb the outdoor steps (or take the nuclear silo/exterior elevator) up one level to get to the lobby area, i.e. to *the food.*

The new School of Medicine Building was our temporary clubhouse while the VDC's regular Clubhouse (WHSCAB) was undergoing renovation and we occasionally still meet there when WHSCAB is otherwise booked.

Claudia Nance Rollins (CNR) is the newest addition to the Emory campus. It is located at 1518 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta, 30322. Clifton is the main thoroughfare through the Emory campus. The closest free parking is in the deck behind the building. You get there from Clifton Rd. by turning downhill at the light at Houston Mill Rd. and then left at your first chance onto an access road (Rollins Way). Use the first (staff) parking entrance, the gate arm goes up after 4:00pm.
From there walk across the street to the first building on your left -- a low stone wall in front of it says "Rollins School of Public Health." Come in through the double glass doors to get to the lobby area, i.e. *the food.*

Once a year -- in January -- the VDC meets on the main campus of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), home turf of almost half of the VDC's membership.
The CDC is located at 1600 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta, 30333. Our meeting is held in Building 19, aka the "Tom Harkin Global Communications Center." Parking is in a deck immediately adjacent to Building 19. Once you have gone through vehicle security and parked, walk into the building, sign in, present photo ID, go through the metal detector, and pick up your name tag before proceeding to the lobby outside the auditorium in which we will be meeting.
Note: Entry to buildings on the CDC campus requires a background check by CDC security so reservations to attend a January meeting must be made no later than the beginning of the preceeding December.

The closest free parking is in the deck behind the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). Use the first (staff) parking entrance, the gate arm goes up after 4:30pm.
