The CFAR Developmental Core provides funding through various grant mechanisms.
CFAR provides support for 245 faculty, research fellows, and post-docs who do ground breaking basic, translational, and applied work, domestically and abroad, with 25 study populations in 29 fields of HIV/AIDS research within 4 domains of research.
CFAR sponsors multiple opportunities for interdisciplinary networking and consultation including two clubs--The CFAR Network and the Vaccine Dinner Club--and various field-specific, interdisciplinary research groups.
CFAR also publishes the Network News electronic newsletter and sponsors a toll-free conference line, interest-specific listservs and an HIV/AIDS Events Calendar.
