CFAR Membership
There are four categories of membership in the Emory CFAR. These are defined as:
- CFAR Investigator: Emory faculty member (at any level) with an interest in HIV/AIDS research. Click here for a current roster of CFAR investigators.
- Adjunct CFAR Investigator: a) Faculty member (at any level) from academic institutions other than Emory and b) Researchers who are affiliated with a non-academic organization that actively engages in HIV/AIDS clinical, behavioral, basic, or translational research (e.g. CDC staff, ARCA members, Pharmaceutical company investigators).
- Associate CFAR Investigator: Post-docs and Research Fellows, from Emory and other academic institutions, who are actively engaging in HIV/AIDS research.
- Affiliated CFAR members: Students at Emory and other academic institutions, b) AIDS Service Organization (ASO) staff, and c) other AIDS-interested private citizens.

MEMBER BENEFITS
CFAR Investigators, Associate, and Adjunct Investigators are entitled to:
- Membership in an interactive community of science that is committed to moving HIV/AIDS research forward domestically and globally
- Priority access to the research support services of the CFAR Cores
- Membership in:
- Participation in Interdisciplinary Research Groups (IRGs), in line with your research interests
- A subscription to the quarterly CFAR Connection newsletter (debuting Fall 2006)
- Poster printing services
