CFAR Science Poster Service

The Science Poster Service of the CFAR Developmental Core seeks to meet two goals:
1. To provide mentorship in the effective presentation of research and its results
2. To assist investigators in disseminating the results of their HIV/AIDS research.

POSTER DESIGN MENTORING

Purpose:: To assist CFAR members in learning how to design a scientific poster that is optimized for:; • Effectively and efficiently summarizing a research project and its results; • Stimulating interest in and discussion about the poster’s content
Eligibility:: • All CFAR members
Services:: • Free workshops on poster design best practices; • Free individual assistance with poster layout and content; • Free printing (limit one poster ≤ $150) for workshop graduates (download copy of instructions below)

POSTER PRINTING SERVICE

Purpose:: To assist early career HIV/AIDS investigators in disseminating the results of their HIV research
Eligibility:: • CFAR Investigators and CFAR Adjunct Investigators
who are presenting data on current, unfunded HIV/AIDS related research
for which they are the PI or Co-PI (limit < $150 per conference); • Current and past CFAR Developmental Core CFAR03, i-CFAR03, and
Micro Grant recipients who are presenting data associated with their
CFAR-funded research (limit ≤ $150 per conference)
