CFAR03 Program

The CFAR03 Program is intended to help move CFAR faculty toward independent investigator status in HIV/AIDS research at NIH through funding projects that will provide data for applications that will support an NIH-funded career development award (K award), exploratory / developmental research grant award (R21), small grant program award (R03), or independent investigator application (R01).

It is modeled on the NIH R03 program and is designed to provide support for research projects that can be carried out in a short period of time (1 year) with limited resources ($30-60K).
