SERVICES
Intervention Information Bank
- The SBS Core maintains a computerized database of the literature on the efficacy and effectiveness of HIV prevention behavioral interventions. This database includes source articles, summaries of empirical data, and implementation information on all HIV prevention behavioral interventions demonstrated to be efficacious and published in the peer-reviewed literature. The interventions are cross-categorized by intervention type (e.g., small group intervention, community-level intervention), risk behavior(s) of target population, race/ethnicity of target population, and setting (e.g., corrections facility). Please contact Mr. Arnel Montenegro to access this information.
Measurement Information (Survey) Bank
- The SBS Core maintains a repository of reliable and valid instruments. This is a bank of measurement instrument with supporting documentation (i.e. scale origin; construct assessed, populations with which the scale was administered, reliability and validity information, scale length). In addition, this measurement bank also includes the latest literature on methods of administering HIV/AIDS related measures including use of QDS systems, Palm-assisted surveys, telephone delivered assessments, paper-and-pencil surveys, as well as interviewer administered assessments. Please contact Mr. Arnel Montenegro to access this information.
Volunteer and Work Study Opportunities
- Volunteer and work study positions in the areas of adolescents and HIV prevention and women and HIV prevention are available. Please contact Mr. Arnel Montenegro for available opportunities.
