CFAR Academic Investigation Dinner Seminar & Soiree
(CFAR AIDS Soiree)

The Emory CFAR Academic Investigation Dinner Seminar and Soiree (CFAR AIDS Soiree) meets periodically throughout the year between September and May. Membership in the club is free and open to all people interested in HIV/AIDS-related basic, clinical, behavioral, social, or translational research as well as research-based clinical, prevention, and educational practice.

WHEN AND WHERE WE MEET

When:

The CFAR AIDS Soiree meets periodically throughout the year between September and May. Meetings convene at 6:00pm with a wine and cheese nosh and network session.

Where:

Unless otherwise advertised, meetings are held in the Teaching Pavilion at 1518 Clifton Rd, a wing of the five-story stucco building on the corner of Houston Mill and Clifton Rds, next to the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). Come in through the double glass doors to get to the lobby (i.e. the food).

How to Get There:

The closest free parking is in the deck behind the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH), an eight-story building near the corner of Houston Mill and Clifton Roads. RSPH is easily identified by the large gray cement licorice sticks that surround the building and hold up each story.

You get to the parking deck behind RSPH by turning downhill from Clifton at the light at Houston Mill Rd. and then taking your first left onto the access road between RSPH and the deck. To park free, use the first entrance into the deck -- the gate arm goes up after 4:30pm.
